Looking at the website, you might think that Clippesby Hall is a big resort. It has many things you expect on a big campsite while retaining a family-run feel. The reception is in a flashy building and contains an attractive bar/restaurant and shop. There is a lot to do onsite with several playgrounds, a mini-golf course and cycle trails. There are plenty of different pitches to choose from, depending on your preferences. We opted for a pitch on Cedar Lawn because of its proximity to the play areas and space to play. The pitches are large and well-spaced. However, be aware that there is a gradient on most grass pitches – surprising on the broads.
