Campsites in Great Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads

There is a huge range of campsites in Great Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads. The area around Great Yarmouth, with its easy access to the beach, the Norfolk Broads National Park and the Norfolk and Suffolk countryside. There are so many campsites around Great Yarmouth that it can be hard to pick out the best one for your needs. The large sites have all the facilities you need but can lack personality and those extra touches that make a site special. On the other hand, a small campsite may have few extras and so needs to make up for it with the location.

All the campsites on this list are highly rated. I have been to a few but unfortunately not all of them. I will update the posts with more details when I am able.

Looking at the website, you might think that Clippesby Hall is a big resort. It does have many of the things you expect on a big campsite while retaining a family-run feel. The reception is in a flashy building and contains an attractive bar/restaurant and shop. There’s lot’s to do onsite with several playgrounds, a mini-golf course and cycle trails. We opted for a pitch on Cedar Lawn because of its proximity to the play areas and space to play. The pitches are large and well-spaced. However, be aware that there is a  gradient on most grass pitches – surprising on the broads. There are plenty of different pitches to choose from, depending on your preferences.
